The Sun Metro app is the City of El Paso’s official transit app that provides quick and easy access to real time bus schedule information. Use the app to plan a trip within the city using local transit or find nearby bus stops using your GPS location.Trip Planner- Area trip planning using current location, landmarks, stop numbers, favorite stops or address search- Customizable trip plan preferences including departure or arrival time, future date trip plan, shortest walking distance, fewest transfers and fastest route- Obtain fare information for your trip based on passenger type (Regular, Student/Military, Senior/Disabled, Child 5 & Under, Downton Circulator, Transfer)Route Schedules- Choose your route and up to three stops to get bus schedule time including real time results- Map-based route traces- Future dated schedules availableNext Departures- Find next departure scheduled times using your stop number, address or landmark- Search for nearby stops using GPS location- View nearby stops using map or list view- Save recent stops searchedAlerts- Get notified in your trip plan, route schedule and next departures of alerts that will affect your ride - Stay up-to-date with detours and events specific to your route or trip planLIFT- This option allows a Sun Metro LIFT-registered user to view, cancel and book new trips online using a secure User ID and Password. It stopped showing route schedules and cannot get bus times. Nothing in real time. Not happy and very upset.
App not working
used to work good enough. now it hasn't work for me at all since 2 weeks ago
This app is much easier to look up the bus stops and the times, being that it lists each stop for each bus, than the newer app where you can't do that and it just gives you the times for the time points which doesn't help much
They said the bus would arrive 10 min and by the time I got there the bus left 5 min ago
So handy, helpful, and easy to use. Love this app!
I like this app but unfortunately, one needs to call SunMetro directly for the moments when the bus is not on par with according to the app.
It doesn't work half the time
The bus schedules are never accurate, people have waited longer than they should've especially when it comes to going to work! Plus the offices aren't open on Sundays!? I guess people don't need assistance on Sundays... Uninstalling immidiately! Thanks for nothing, but a waste of time!
